(More customer reviews)I've read the mixed reviews and wanted to share my experience with Rover. This is our second season with him, and I don't know what I would do with Rover. We bought him last year, first time pool/house owners and the pool was filled with algae and tons of stuff. Rover worked overtime, and got Everything out. Yes, his bag filled up, but the condition to the pool was not so good. We used him regularly and cleaned him after each use, following directions. We use to have a DE filter which broke and spit the powder all out in the pool.... yup Rover cleaned it all up for us. In the fall we had acorns all in the pool... yup again Rover picked up the big leaves and all the acorns, and I mean he had like 50 of them in his bag at a single time. It looked so funny emptying them out! But, he got the job done, with the solar cover even on top of the pool he works under it.
I find it great that you can just drop him in, set him to go, and come back in 2 hours and all done.... sooo easy! This year we opened our pool and once again Rover to the rescue for tree leaves and sticks and such from whatever storms we have had and normal debrie that falls into the pool. We have an above ground pool 18". His bag and the unit itself are in perfect condition. We had no problems with him at all, and again don't know what we would do with out one. If he ever broke I would not hesitate to buy again.
