I've purchased two of these vacs and they work well except for two things. The bottom of the plastic housing includes a bump-out with a spring loaded device to keep the handle upright. It was designed to be hollow plastic, unfortunately, with the result that the spring loaded devices soon wear through the plastic. The plastic housing has a lifetime warranty covering replacement and both of mine have gone through that process. I am told the newer models have this plastic bump-out solid so as to prevent rapid wear.
The other issue is with the cord. The cord runs up the handle and through a molded-on fastener. The cord prematurely breaks from flexing at the top of this fastener. The strain relief is not sufficiently flexible to prevent wear where the cord exits. Unfortunately you can't just cut the cord, put on a plug and use an extension cord because of the location of the wear-spot. And a new cordset is expensive. The Pro-Team people told me this damage is caused by winding the cord clockwise instead of counter-clockwise--that is a poor response to a design defect. I do not recommend this product until they change the cord design.
