(More customer reviews)Okay so you find yourself here looking for the best vacuum on planet earth. Well you're in luck because I have already done the searching for you and I bought a Sebo X4. Why? Because it is simply the best vacuum. I know because I literally spent many, many days reading everything I could on the internet and visiting every vacuum store in my area. The Sebo X4 has proven it's worth in both the home and in commercial applications. It is the vacuum used by any cleaning company that's knows what they are doing. Many, many hotels use this vacuum (the commerical version which is just a different color and called Windsor (see [...]) So if these are used to vacuum room after room after room and office after office after office then isn't it good enough for your home? Well I found out that it easily can handle two cats who shed hair quite a bit. I got mine about two months ago and have vacuumed the house about 5 to 6 times since getting my Sebo X4 in Onyx Black. Let me tell you that this thing literally sucks ! See my video and you will see the first bag that I have ever filled with this Sebo X4. It really shocked me as to just how much cat hair was in this skinny bag. It was compressed in that bag and there was an insane amount of hair. To see it is to believe it ! Whether it's dogs, cats or whatever animal hair you have to deal with, this vacuum is the answer to your dreams. Of course everyone knows that pet hair is the toughest to pick up so can you imagine how this will pick up the crap on your carpet? It does an amazing job. The first time I used it my carpet looked like how the hotel carpet looks when I first check in. Super clean and nice looking. I have owned a Kirby for decades and it was a tank and never died, but it could never vacuum like this Sebo X4 does. I looked at Dysons. Read all the comments online and you will discover that those Dysons will damage your carpet. Carpet companies are known for not honoring warranties on carpets that have been vacuumed by Dysons. That is just how bad they are for carpets. Yeah a Dyson sucks hard...maybe too hard because it sucks and pulls (with it's rotor) the carpet hairs out. My Sebo just sucks the crap and cat hairs out, that's it ! The only bad thing about my Sebo X4 that I would complain about is that if you don't get the extended hose then when you pull on the hose the vacuum may tip over otherwise it is simply the absolute best vacuum on the planet. I even looked at the Miele S7 and that is a very beautiful vacuum but when I tried it the body tab protruding at the back of the Miele S7 vacuum bent backwards making the vacuum unable to function correctly. Very disappointing because Miele makes very good vacuums. The Miele S7 has also been noted for losing it's ability to stand because the locking mechanism that allows it to turn left to right and right to left eventually fails which means the vacuum will not stand on it's own when this locking mechanism fails. Miele makes excellent canister type vacuums though they are very pricey. Sebo canisters aren't cheap either. The Sebo X4 is a very good deal. I paid just over $500 for mine and it will be with me for a long, long time. How do I know? Because these vacuums are like tanks. They last, and last and last.
